|The song Sierra Blanca (Don't Dump on Me) was written to protest the
dumping of radioactive waste on pristine desert ranch land in Sierra
Blanca. Thanks to 60,000+ signatures and airplay on Mexican television, the
dump was cancelled. However New York City sewer sludge was allowed to
be dumped as a "fertilizing agent" on the open desert. The company was
later found to be tied to organized crime and radioactive garbage was
discovered mixed into the sludge that was already spread. This shit stinks!
